INQUIRYLast term we learnt about Light and Sound. We looked at opitcal illusions and we looked at the the human eye. Near the end of the term we had a expo and Jayden and I made a globe from paper mashe. First we blew up a balloon and we got all our material (glue, newpaper, and water). When we finish we painted the globe so it looked like a globe. After that we got three pieces of A3 paper. We wrote facts like the speed of light can go 7 times around the world in 1 second. This term we have been learning about aboriginals. My favourite activity was when we had a question and we had to make something to show what we had learnt about the question. My question was "What is NAIDOC week?" I made a stage and i had two bannners one with infomation about NAIDOC week. On Friday we watch Rabbit proof fence. It was about three girls called Molly, Daisy and Gracie. They escape from a misssionary and gracie gets caught on the way home. they follow the rabbit proof fence for 1500 miles to get to Jigaloo.

Term 3 This term is called Where in the world? It about geography and where countries are and famous landmarks. A few days ago our school went to port melbourne to learn about importing and exporting. They talked about what was importing and what was exporting. Importing is when a country send resources to us. They send fruit and vegetables, techology, toys, furniture and much more. Exporting is when melbourne will send stuff oversea like crude oil, fruit and vegetables, scarp metal, milk and more. They told us that everything is send in a container and every container has a different special barcode. The containers have the barcode because it is used as a GPS for the truck to be send the container to the right spot. There is a container called the reefer container to refridge the food like milk and meat.

I leant that the boat that can carry the most container can carry more than 15000 containers. On a boat if you can't see the red line on the boat that boat is fully loaded.In inquiry we started the thing called a inquiry booklet. First we had to do a KWL (know, Want to know, Learnt) about the country that we picked. i picked Thailand i didnt know much about thailand and i had lots and lots of unanswered questions. When i finish we started the maps. We printed a picture of the whole world and label our country and what country was around it, the longatude and lattude, what contient my country was on, the ocean around my country,home=
